Drawing Room Family Studio – 2-4pm session

Sunday 5th October, 2-4pm

Join us for a fun and welcoming Sunday drop-in session for families! This hands-on session is designed for caregivers and children of all ages to enjoy creating together.

Everyone is welcome. Please choose the ticket price that works best for you and your family. If you can’t afford to pay, please select free ticket, no questions asked.

For children, ticket prices are offered on a sliding scale: free, £7, or £14, so everyone can join.

So we know how many people to expect, please book also for the number of caregivers attending.

We are a charity, so your contribution will help us to cover our costs, such as paying the lead artist and support staff, art materials, and refreshments.

This month's artist: May Hands

Working with artist May Hands, families are invited to explore shapes and textures from nature using drawing and sculpture. The session begins with playful drawing using natural objects like shells, leaves and seed heads.

Then, inspired by their drawings, families will build colourful three dimensional sculptures using raffia, wire, fabric and plants as they create nests, homes or shrines that show care and respect for nature. Younger children can enjoy colouring, twisting, threading and making patterns with natural materials.
