Drawing Projects UK is pleased to present this Drawing Session led by Fiona G. Roberts on Tuesday 28 January 2020 from 12noon to 3pm in The Chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.

During this 3-hour Drawing Session you will learn how to draw and paint faces using ink. Fiona will guide you through the essentials, from handling the brushes and mixing the ink to drawing the proportions of the face correctly. You will practice how to draw the face from different angles and will experiment with different strengths of ink which will allow different tones to develop as well as strong or subtle contrasts of light and shade. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

Fiona G. Roberts is a current exhibitor in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2019, which is on show in The Chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.

Fiona G. Roberts (b.Cumbria, UK) studied MA Painting at Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts London (2015-16). Group exhibitions have includes: Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2018, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London and UK tour (2018-19); Jerwood Drawing Prize 2017, Jerwood Space, London and UK tour (2017-18); Ingram Collection Young Contemporary Talent Purchase Prize Exhibition, Cello Factory, London (2016). Awards include: Dentons Art Prize, Dentons Law Firm, London (2018); Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship, Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL (2015-16); Staff Prize and Special Commendation, Dentons Art Prize (2018). She lives and works in London.

This Drawing Session is suitable for adults of all levels of experience in drawing.

This Drawing Session is part of an events and engagement programme accompanying the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2019 exhibition while it is on show at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London from 18 January to 1 February 2020. The exhibition is open daily from 11am to 4pm and is free to see.
