About this Event

Drawing is often considered to be the most primal method of expression predating the written word.

This drawing course will consider the parameters of drawing through the act of making marks and through discussion. Drawing can be seen as a means of expressing abstract concepts, responses to visual stimuli, or spoken feelings. It is also a functional tool to convey definitive information. This course is open to people in any discipline, both in the arts and beyond.

Tutor, Susan Milne. Graduated in Illustration from St Martins School of Art and was formerly the Senior Lecturer in Visual Studies at the University of Greenwich. She has also been Visiting Lecturer in course development at Larenstein IAC, Netherlands, as well as Visiting Lecturer in Fine Art at Hereford College of Art, and Swansea Institute She has worked across many art disciplines and with different practitioners including theatre and sound producers, landscape designers and textile designers.

Cost £50 (plus booking fee) includes materials and tools.
