Drawing to remember : CPD

This 2 hr short course (and complimentary lunch) is a CPD knowledge exchange event for professionals and practitioners currently working in forensic environments. The course will introduce the Drawing-to-Remember' technique for supporting neurotypical and neurodiverse adults and children to recall episodic and/or autobiographical experiences using drawing for i) effectively triggering a memory search, and ii) improving the quality and quantity of event relevant information recalled. There is an emphasis on experiential and practice-based activities. There is also coverage of the extant body of theoretical and empirical support for drawing, providing a context within which attendees can learn and practice the ‘drawing to remember’ skills.
