Come draw with us and celebrate World Book Day!

On Thursday 7th March, book author and illustrator Ali Pye will be hosting an online drawing class. Ali will be taking the group through two different drawing excercises, focusing on expressing emotion through animal characters and recreating one of her own illustrations! This will be an amazing opportunity to get creative, practise your drawing skills, get to meet a professional author and illustrator and meet some fellow book enthusiasts!

About Ali Pye

Ali Pye had wanted to be an illustrator since she was small, when she used to draw stories and stick the pages together to make little books. Ali has since illustrated more than 30 books, which have been published around the world! As well as illustration, she is also the author of several picture books, and the ‘Harry Stevenson’ series, which was inspired by a real-life guinea pig. Ali lives in London with her family and a spaniel called Saffy.

This event is free for all to attend.

Timings - The event will start at 5pm for 1 hour, in a room of your choice at home.

Join Online - We will send you a link in advance to join on Zoom.

Equipment - We will send everything you need in the post before the event, so you can simply join in on the day alongside everyone else. Please be sure to put the correct address on the booking page, so we send your box to the right house!

Photos - We will be taking a recording of the event which might be used on our social media platforms and website. By attending this event, you are agreeing for Rays of Sunshine to use any recordings taken during the event to help promote the charity's work.
