Drawing with Charcoal

Join artist Melanie Young to explore the properties of willow. You will experiment with drawing with charcoal and using willow as a pen to ink in parts of the drawing you create. This workshop will be hands on and is suitable for people at all levels including beginners.

This workshop is part of Helston Makes It! a week-long annual celebration of makers and craft. This year, the festival celebrates trades and crafts with a link to withy and grown materials to tie in with our new exhibition Withy Lore ( 12th September – 1st November).
