Event description
An online drawing walkshop inspired by an imagined walk towards a tree-lined skyline.

About this event

We will zoom into the trees, observing closely, looking up, drawing as we go. If you are searching for ideas on how to approach walking and drawing in a creative, experimental and fun way, this is the walkshop for you.

Suitable for beginners and those more experienced. Ages 12+ years.

You will need basic drawing materials and paper. We can adapt to whatever you have to hand, so feel free to use recycled materials as drawing surfaces too.

Ruth Broadbent is an artist, associate lecturer, and the founder of walk.draw. Her creative practice is inspired by nature and ecology, and she specialises in drawing and sculpture, often combining the two. Recent drawings include a series of map-like imaginary puddle worlds and sand drawings inspired by the tide at the water’s edge.
