About this event
This autumn, join The Big Draw for a spectacular celebration of creativity and community as they launch the 25th anniversary of The Big Draw Festival with Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture and the National Trust!
We’ll be hosting a free, open-to-all creative extravaganza in Keighley on the weekend of 13th and 14th September, with creative activities popping up at various locations throughout the town. The beautiful and historic East Riddlesden Hall will host the core launch activities on Sunday, with activity spilling out into various venues across the town as part of a weekend-long Big Draw takeover!
The weekend will be chock-full of creative activity for all ages and abilities, with local artist facilitators running a range of free, drop-in workshops at East Riddlesden Hall. There’s a little something for everyone - limber up with larger than life collaborative drawings, make mindful marks in the lower fields, craft your own wearable cartoon creations, and more.
The launch event is made possible by the generous support of our Launch Sponsor, Ringtons.
The weekend marks the start of the official Big Draw Festival month, which takes place throughout October and sees thousands of visitors worldwide enjoying events hosted by Big Draw co-creators from galleries to libraries to care homes and more.
So whether you draw everyday, doodle in meetings or haven't picked up a pencil in years, you’re invited to be part of the ‘Drawn Together’ picture this year!
