Drawstring Bag Class

Join us in this session where we will make a drawstring bag from scratch.

We will teach you how to:

• sketch out patterns
• install zipper
• craft pockets.

You'll use the main fabrics plus interfacing for extra durability. We'll even craft our own drawstring!

This functional bag can serve as an everyday accessory, whether for school, work, or other purposes. Use different fabric prints to personalize it and give it your unique style.

Supplied:

• Machines
• Scissors
• Pins
• Tape Measures
• 1 x zip in limited colour range
• Tea and Coffee.

Required:

• Lunch
• 50cm craft cotton for main
• 70cm craft cotton for lining
• 1m cotton stayflex (woven interfacing)
• matching colour of Guttermann Sew all thread
• 20cm medium weight vinyl or upholstery fabric (for base of bag)
• (Optional) 1x 8" zip in matching colour
