The Southend Youth Council are holding a FREE event that aims to encourage the local young people of Southend-on-Sea to Dream,Believe and Achieve! The seminar is mainly targeted towards young people aged between 11-25 years, however, all ages are welcome! Families and groups are encouraged to attend!
This event is being hosted by the former Youth Mayor of Southend on Sea, Bertha Sibanda, who is 18 years old, a young person herself, who was inspired to hold the event to help to solve the increasing problems facing young people regarding an increasing lack of confidence. With increasing pressures arising from education, social media and cultural expectations- no wonder why young people have never felt so stretched! This is a conference thst will hep to equip anybody who attends to possess an empowered identity, and a brand new perspective on what they can do.
Confidence is an attribute that can either make or break a person if there is not enough of it. So therefore, this conference is for any young person who either feels that like they are hopeless or feeling like they need a bit of a push to help them to up the momentum on the way to achieve their goals. This is a seminar that you must definitely NOT miss!
As you attend this event, be prepared to have the eyes of your soul have their skin peeled off to unravel all that you can see. Because seeing something is the very beginning to believe. Seeing may be what you dream you can achieve or do. Dreaming is the precursor to believing. And...when you believe, as the title suggests- You Can Achieve!
Come... Dream,Believe and Achieve! On Wednesday 26th October 2016 from 4-7pm.
