Come to Sussex's beautiful Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts on February 27th for Dream Your School - a co-created day to imagine the future of learning. Expect to have fun, get inspired, gain new tools for teaching and learning, and generate ideas with a diverse mix of young people and adults.
Supported by an experienced team of facilitators, participants will spend the day sharing tools for learning and creativity, and generating new ideas for educational policy and practice. There will be opportunities to work outdoors, and to work playfully. Activities will range from inventing to philosophy, and from video making to graphic facilitation. After the event, the ideas generated at Dream Your School will be shared with education policymakers, learning communities and the public.
This intergenerational, interdisciplinary event is suitable for:
- learners aged 10 and up
- students and emerging educators
- professional educators and people working in education policy
- people working with young people
- anyone in between who is passionate or curious about good practice in learning and education. Come and be part of it!
The underlying purpose of the day is twofold: 1) to offer participants new skills and inspiration, and 2) to draw out fresh ideas about learning and imagine education at its best.
Registration is essential for people wishing to come.
