Description

This two-day interdisciplinary symposium aims to explore diverse representations and theorisations of dreams through the lens of specific moments of historical atrocity. The event includes a keynote by Prof. Max Silverman (University of Leeds) on 'Dreams, Trauma and Screen Memory' and a screening of Asel Kadyrkhanova's 'All the Dreams we Dream' (2019), with panels on dreams and the Holocaust; colonialism; war; ecocide and extinction and memory.

Tickets are free of charge for students/those who do not earn a wage and 15.00 GBP for non-students/waged persons, and includes lunch (vegetarian and vegan only) and tea and coffee on both days, as well as a wine reception on Thursday.
