- Understanding the back of a pattern envelope
- Tracing pattern pieces
- Understanding pattern markings
- Darts
- Gathering
- Installing a zipper
- Sewing a buttonhole
- Sewing on a button with your machine
- Finishing your woven edges
- Hemming
Mastering these techniques will give you the confidence to dive into the world of dressmaking when you get back home.
