DRIVER CPC COURSE – DRIVER SAFETY & DRUGS & ALCOHOL AWARENESS

The course will include two 3.5 hour modules; the first is driver safety and the second is drugs & alcohol awareness.

Driver safety –

To provide an understanding to drivers regarding the safety risks when on the road and how to minimise these risks to remain safe.

On completion of training delegates should demonstrate understanding of:

· Driver insurance

· Issues which could arise with insurance

· Risks of the road

· Mobile phones and distractions and the effect on driving

· Risks of fatigue when driving

Drugs and alcohol awareness –

To provide drivers with understanding of the effect which alcohol and drugs has when driving and raise awareness of the risks involved.

On completion of training delegates should demonstrate understanding of:

· The effect and risks of alcohol and drugs when driving

· Alcohol and drugs awareness

A sandwich or roll lunch with snacks can be purchased for £5.50 at the event, however you are welcome to bring your own lunch with you, however please be aware that there are no shops or cafes within walking distance of the training centre.

Please keep your ticket to hand and ensure you bring your photo driving licence with you as without this we cannot register you as having attended the CPC course.
