We’re delighted to invite you to an evening centred around ‘Driving Diversity’. You’ll hear from our panel of guest speakers discussing their range of experience on this topic, and of course a chance to network and mingle.

Agenda for the evening

6:00pm - Arrive for drinks, food and networking

About our speakers

Asher Craig

Counciller Asher Craig is the Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Communities, Equalities and Public Health at Bristol City Council. Sher has over 30 years experience as a community activist, leader, management consultant and politician. She has championed the needs of the voiceless, with a particular emphasis on the social-economic development of BME and under-represented communities. leading a number of major partnerships and organisations at local, regional and national level and has worked in the field of employment & training, education & skills, recruitment, advocacy, equality & diversity within local government and third sector.

Roger Griffith

Roger is a social entrepreneur, lecturer and engaged in several community and social action projects. He is the Executive Chair and Director of Strategy & Partnerships for Ujima Radio CIC where he is also a broadcaster. He is also the Chief Executive for 2morrow 2day Community Consultants connecting businesses and organisations with the many talented communities in Bristol. These initiatives include consultation, media, employment and diversity projects.

Rebecca Scott

A Finance professional with over 15 years experience working within the sector. With a passion for inclusion, opportunities and supporting others Rebecca aspires to promote inclusion across the professional services sector. Rebecca has held a number of voluntary roles across the city and is currently a Director Autism Independence, School Governor and is part of the steering group for Black Southwest Network.

Heather Cooper

Heather has a wealth of experience developing and implementing people management strategies in high performing businesses and has a passion for learning and development. An executive coach and developer of high performing teams, Heather is responsible for leading the people strategy at Hargreaves Lansdown (HL), focusing on attracting, developing and retaining talented people, as an employer of choice. Heather is also responsible for the development of the Group's culture, corporate responsibility and diversity and inclusion strategies.
