This is a dinner like no other to celebrate a decade of drooling. June 2025 marks 10 years since the Drooling Vegans group was first formed.

For one night only, Drooling Vegans are invited to gather inside the UK’s first fully vegan community kitchen, Made In Hackney, for an intimate and unforgettable fundraising feast.

Our very own Chef Sharon, one of the kitchen’s most celebrated culinary talents, will prepare a mouthwatering Caribbean meal that is as nourishing as it is delicious.

Expect bold flavours, vibrant ingredients, and plenty of heart in every bite. Served feasting-style in our welcoming community space on Clapton Common, this is your chance to enjoy good food, good company, and do some good in the process.

The menu will include:

Chickpea and potato curry with rice/peas
Caribbean naked slaw
Plantain bites
Brownie for dessert

Sharon will be on hand to share her insights and inspiration behind the menu as we serve ourselves and tuck in. This is more than a dinner. It’s a celebration of food, culture, and community.

All ticket proceeds will support Made In Hackney’s vital food security work, helping local people access the nutritious, sustainable food they need.
