D o you hear the call of the drums?
T hey have been speaking loudly to many! This day workshop is open to all and within it you will birth your own drum and beater and journey to meet it's spirit. There are strictly only 8 places available.
J oin us for a day of Sacred Creation in the beautiful Nolava room in Goddess House. Right in the centre of Glastonbury.
W e begin the day by arriving, landing in the beautiful surrounds of Goddess House.
W e will open our sacred space by building and altar together, taking part in a grounding meditation to help us arrive and set the intention for our day and then taking part in a sharing circle.
A fter this we begin the process of preparing our materials. We will choose and connect to our hoops, connect with and honour our hides, building a relationship with these sacred materials.
T hen we measure, cut and hole punch. Preparing the materials, building the pieces for our drums.
A fter lunch we begin the process of weaving the drums into being. Seeing as these beings start to come into the world, perhaps weaving in a crystal into the centre handle or adding words into the binding.
T hen you will birth your drum!
W e make our beaters and then final journey to see if we can meet the spirit of our newly birthed drums, our allys and friends for life!
T his is a full day, starting at 10am and finishing at around 7pm. It may go on until 7:30pm depending on how the day goes.

A cross the day you will birth a cross shaped or triskele 3 strand handled drum, there will be the option to place a crystal in the centre and/or bind words into the handle too. If you have different plans for how you might wish a drum to look, get in touch with Melonie for her 121 deeper drum days.
W e will each bring a dish to share for our shared lunch and maybe 2nd lunch depending on how hungry we get! You can bring your own crystals, Melonie will have some but most people like to choose their own.After booking you will receive and information sheet with things to bring, address etc.
P lease note: There will be a drum circle (Friday night 7:30-9:30pm or Sunday afternoon 12:30-3:30pm or both) in Glastonbury that Melonie is running - just waiting for confirmation of a space to drum in. For those who have made a drum with Melonie on the workshop - entrance to this is free - Melonie will provide drums or bring others you own as your new one wont be ready to be played yet!
P lease note that all deposits become non refundable by January 1st 2024 and all payment become non refundable 4 weeks before the event as materials, travel, accommodation and venue hire will have been paid for.
