In this half day workshop you will learn how to make a drum lampshade ready for use. 

We will share our tips and sources with you so you can easily change the look of a lamp in your home.

About the day....

• Welcome for a hot drink from 9am
• Sue will share her lampshade experience on fabric choice and application.
• The fun bit- Making a 30cm  drum lampshade.
• Discussion and embellishment options.
• Refreshments and nibbles available throughout.
• Finish at 12.30pm

What to bring

• Half a meter of fabric approx 137cm wide and cotton based.  
• (no 3d print / embroidered silk /  thick weave / easily frayed)
• Sue has fabric available on the day for £5. Arrive at 9am to choose.
• The frame kit is included in the cost.

Where and when

• Saturday 5th February.
• This 1/2 day Workshop runs from 0930-1230pm.
• Venue,  Stockbridge Scout Hut. SO20 6EU (Behind Grosvenor Hotel which is opposite our shop)

Covid-19 Safety Measures.

• Places are limited to 8 to allow for social distancing
• Windows will be opened to allow air flow . ( The heat will be on, but dress accordingly.)
• We do ask that you do a LFT prior to attending. If you have a positive test result we will offer the same workshop on a different date
• We will implement safety measures throughout the day
