Welcome to DRUMLANE ABBEY - WHERE THE PAST MEETS THE PRESENT event!

Nestled within the heart of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, join us for a leisurely guided tour at the historic Drumlane Abbey and Round Tower, Milltown, Belturbet, County Cavan, for an afternoon filled with exploration and discovery, whilst enjoying nature and the stunning scenery. Step back in time and listen to old folklore tales as you immerse yourself in the rich history of this ancient site, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Feeling thirsty? Following on from the guided tour, there will be complimentary light refreshments provided by Cuilcagh Lakeland Geopark and Created in Cavan members Hawthorn Lodge B&B - Belturbet, showcasing produce from Created in Cavan producers!

All the proceeds from the sale of the tickets will be donated to: Drumlane Abbey History and Heritage Fund.

Tickets are priced at ten Euros each and are only available by booking online.

Meeting place - Drumlane Abbey and Round Tower car park at 2pm.

Parking - Please park in the car park opposite Drumlane Abbey.

Footwear and Clothing - As this is an outdoor event, please wear sensible footwear and waterproof clothing, dependent on the weather, but also factor in the sunny weather too.

Yes, tickets are non-refundable, as this is a charity event.

Will bottled water be provided at the tour?

Unfortunately, bottled water will not be provided at the tour. Therefore, please bring your own bottled water.

Can we bring our dogs with us?

Please note, that dogs (with the exceptions of guide and assistance dogs) are not permitted at this event.
