This is an evening for all the family. We will listen to drumming, song, more drumming, stories, dance, oh and maybe some more drumming. Costs kept low with BYOB.

Huntly West African Drumming Group - sharing some of their favourite rhythms from the Malinke tradition.

Drummin' Aboot - more groove and songs from the group based in South Aberdeenshire.

Talking Rhythm and The Great Drum of the Elephants - Carol Scorer's version of the Haitian Creation Myhth of how drums and drummers came to be in the world accompanied by Talking Rhythm Drummers.

Funkaboot FONO - For one night only, this line up of drummers from across Scotland will make sure you are moving to the compex rhythms and beats traditionally of West Africa.

Can I join in?

Yes! It's an evening of performance, but you should bring your dancing shoes and singing voice so we can all participate together.

Is there a bar?

No. BUT you can bring all your own refreshments, to ensure you have exactly what you 'd like and to keep the costs down.

How much is it?

Donation based. Suggested donation is £7 per person or £4 for unwaged or children
