Dry Bones - The Event

We are taking 'Church music' to the club. If you love the type of music that you might hear in a modern church on a Sunday morning (Hillsong, Worship Central, Phil Wickham etc.) but want it a little bit louder, in the type of place you might hang out on a Saturday night, then this is the event for you. We are taking the sounds of a Sunday away from the usual environment, injecting some extra production, a lot of energy and plenty of bass.

Dry Bones is an interactive experience. Maybe you are used to singing along in church every Sunday, maybe the idea of going to church seems like something only weird people do but you love to sing, maybe you just want to sit at the back with a pint and work out what this is all about. We want you to just come along and be yourself, enjoy the music, enjoy the atmosphere, enjoy the beer and experience church outside of the ordinary.

For this launch event the Dry Bones resident band will be led by guest musician Pete McAllen.

Here's what Pete McAllen's website says about him:

'Pete McAllen is an independent artist based in Cambridge, UK. He has been writing performing since 2004 and this journey has taken him to countries including USA, New Zealand, Uganda, India, Mexico, and Poland.

His latest offering is a stunning collection of fresh songs for the church. 'I Hear Your Voice' displays Pete's heart for encouraging worshippers to engage with God in a personal way. The album has been very well received, having had plenty of airplay and is available to download now from all major stores.

Pete is currently on staff at C3 (Cambridge Community Church) where he serves as Worship Pastor. For the last two years he led worship at One Event festival and was previously part of the worship team at Hillsong London.'
