Dry Point & Line Etching (taster course)

This one-day taster course is a celebration of intaglio line! From the sharp and delicate lines that are the quintessential marks of etching to the fabulously blurred and velvety lines of drypoint, this course is a great opportunity to think about the compelling ways we can build an image through line alone. You will leave the workshop with some prints you have made, and, hopefully, with a mind full of ideas for future printing projects. This is an excellent way to get a feel for whether intaglio printmaking is an area that you would like to explore further down the line.

The workshop will take place on Friday 7 June, 10:00 - 17:00. All materials provided.

Our taster sessions offer a hands on introduction to some of the key printmaking processes offered here at Peacock.

These taster sessions are great for people who have little or no prior experience of printmaking but would like to find out more about the processes, but also for people who would like to refresh themselves on a particular technique .

Concession rates are available for Students, OAPs, Unemployed. Proof of eligibility for concession will be required at start of course.
