Drypoint is a technique where lines are drawn or scratched into a surface (for this workshop we will be using Perspex) to create an image that will hold ink. The resulting plate is printed through an etching press onto paper.
You will learn the basic approach of making a drypoint print, experiment with mark making using various tools and materials and learn how to ink, wipe and print the plate using a variety of techniques.
All materials will be provided.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
