DSPL2 Secondary Inference Training (3 and 10 March 2026)

We are pleased to invite all DSPL2 secondary schools to access fully funded evidence-based reading comprehension training.

This training is available for your SENCo and a TA to attend

Session 1 via Zoom

Tuesday 3rd March 2026 9.15-12.15pm (Register from 9am)

and

Session 2 via Zoom

Tuesday 10th March 2026 9.15-12.15pm (Register from 9am)

• By booking you are agreeing to attend both sessions.

• DSPL2 will cover the cost of the training and will also purchase the resources required for the course. Schools will received the resources prior to the first session.

• Each school will be sent a Zoom link prior to the sessions.

Laura Bloomberg (BEd Hons, Dip RSA) has had over 30 years’ teaching experience in state and private schools. She is an independent dyslexia consultant (Level 5 OCR) and was an assessor (Level 7 OCR). Laura worked for Hertfordshire Local Authority Outreach SpLD Service, supporting schools to remove barriers to learning for pupils with specific learning difficulties (SpLD). She also delivered the Level 5 Diploma in ‘Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Differences’ and was a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, School of Education. Laura is also an accredited trainer on the evidence-based ‘Inference Training Programme’, suited for Key Stages 2, 3, & 4. She delivers the programme to schools across the UK and internationally. Laura is also a qualified NLP Mindset Coach, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique – Energy Tapping) Practitioner and a Hypnotherapist.
