Spend a fun Afternoon with us at The LAB, Dublin learning the basics of modern calligraphy. Whether you're planning to address invitation envelopes, add something extra to your thank you cards, or just looking to learn a new hobby or skill, this beginner calligraphy class is for you! Pretty handwriting is not required in order to be good at calligraphy (trust me, my handwriting is atrocious). All you need to know is how to hold a pen. You will learn how to use a traditional dip pen and nib, mark making, letterforms, word formation and simple flourishing. All calligraphy materials (yours to keep!) will be provided. Just bring your lovely selves!
