Dudley HID Site Visit: IPI vs Traditional Construction

IPI is the world’s first application of Insurance-Backed Alliancing (IBA), aligning all project partners, including SMEs, designers, and constructors, around shared objectives, not price.

It creates a single alliance board and integrated project team (IPT), working openly with shared responsibility, collective incentives, and transparent financial management. Profit is earned on people’s time, not materials, with payments made via a trust account to remove cash flow delays.

IPI uniquely covers all project risks: design, construction, cost overruns, and latent defects for 12 years post-completion.

It’s proven on projects like Dudley’s HID, delivering better outcomes, innovation, and wellbeing for all involved.
