2 - Club description:
Chess is the ideal game to learn skills such as managing one's emotions under pressure; learning from one error or failures; improving one's social interactions on and off line through active listening; how to manage one's time; how to build strategies, patience and the thinking before acting; seeking positivre outcomes in complicated situations and much more...
We have created a series of 10 sessions to play chess and learn to develop skills that they will be able to rely on in their teens and adulthood.
The sessions will comprise of a chess lesson part, tournaments where they will play against one another and 1 to 1 sessions where we will be working how their skills are developming and what more they can do.
3 - Age range:
These sessions are set up to work on Skills Development for 13 to 16 year olds.
