Join us, as we pay tribute to the life of Dudley's favourite son, Duncan Edwards.
The Busby Babe would be celebrating his 80th birthday in 2016, and we'll be joined by sports stars of past and present for a 3-course meal, in respectful memory of one of the greatest athletes ever produced in the Black Country.
After the meal, there will be an exclusive screening of Rose Cook Monk's biographical film "And then came Munich", which details the life of a young Duncan rising from the streets of Dudley to play football on the greatest stage, before the tragic air crash in Munich which took his life.
Named by some as potentially the greatest footballer who ever lived, his life and the tragic circumstances which led to his passing will be commemorated in this special event at the Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Saturday 1st October.
Among the famous faces already confirmed as attending are Bryan Robson OBE, Norman Whiteside, Darren Moore, James Chambers and Bob Taylor, so you can imagine how much of a treat this is going to be for the football fans among you.
