Do I need to know anything about Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop roleplaying games to join in?

Accepted Answer

No! Everyone is welcome, whether you've only just heard of it or read every book out there. The sessions are aimed at beginner players though, so if you've been playing a while, you could join in with our regular weekly groups that also run on Wednesdays.

Question 2

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

No! We'll provide everything to get you started. Some players find it helpful to have a notebook and pen but it's not essential.

Question 3

Can I use a character I've already created?

Accepted Answer

Wow, you're ahead of the game! We've no objection in principle to using an existing character, but drop us a note and our games master can check it's going to fit in with the planned game.

Question 4

Will there be food and/or drink available?

Accepted Answer

We're in a brewery taproom, so there are plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available at the bar. There's no food available to order onsite (other than the best crisps in Walthamstow), but you're welcome to order food in from outside or bring your dinner with you.

Is there parking available?

Yes! You can park opposite the entrance to the brewery.

Is the venue accessible?

Accepted Answer

The venue has step-free access, although the ramp down into the taproom is slightly steeper than a regulation accessible ramp - we can help you in if you would prefer, just let us know. There is a wheelchair accessible area at the bar and an accessible toilet. If you have any questions, let us know!

Are children welcome?

Accepted Answer

This event is intended for adults (plus it's on a school night!) If you have children who are interested in learning to play, please let us know as we would consider running a group for kids if there's enough interest.
