About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As the only mammals which can truly fly, bats really are brilliant! Join us for a guided walk around Diamond Wood Country Park with our bat detectors where hopefully we'll see and hear some!

There will be a short outdoors talk beforehand where you find out more about British bats (and a few others).

Meet at the entrance to Rainsbrook Crematorium by St Andrew's Rugby Club car park, Ashlawn Road. We will start promptly at 7.30pm.

The event takes place in the country park during sunset and nighttime. Appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing should be worn. The paths we will walk for this event are not paved or accesible for wheelchairs.
