South Central Bedfordshire's Bump, Birth and Baby Stuff Partnership
South Central Bedfordshire's Bump, Birth and Baby Stuff partnership is a collaborative approach to providing seamless antenatal care to expectant parents.
The partnership is a collaboration made up between Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton & Dunstable Hospital, local 0-19 Health Visiting Teams plus Dunstable North (The Beehive), Dunstabe South and Leigthon Buzzard Children's Centres.
The programme that we offer is a 5 week course for expectant parents who live in Central Bedfordshire which covers a different topic each week such as;
Week one - "Getting to know my bump"
Week two - "Planning and get ready"
Week three - "Responsive feeding and our babies cues"
Week four - "Caring for our baby"
Week five - "Your health and wellbeing"
Ideally, expectant mums should be at least 26 weeks gestation or more when they start the 5 week course and have at least 6 weeks to go before their expected due date by the end of the course to be sure there is time to complete it.
Partners are more than welcome to attend too! If you would like to bring a partner/friend/family member with you, please just book a second ticket in the name of that person.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BOOKING SITE OPENS 10 WEEKS BEFORE THE COURSE STARTS. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOOK BEFORE THIS DATE.
