Event description


Durham City Archers invites you to enter it's World Record Status WA 18.

When you enter competitons the following information may be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitiors for example target lists and resuslts may be published: First Name, Surname, Gender, Bow style, Date of Birth / Age category, Email, Address, Phone Number, Club (and ID), County (and ID), Region (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info.

Morning session - Equipment inspection - 9am. Assembly - 9:30am.

Afternoon session - Equipment inspection - 1pm. Assembly - 1.30pm.

2 ends of practice will start no later than 5 minutes after the end of assembly.

Entry: £9 per session, £15 for both sessions.

Closing Date: 18/01/20 - 23:30. If both sessions fill up before this date (max 40 archers per session) you will be placed on a waiting list.

WA Rules will apply.

Dress Code: World Archery dress regulations as shown in Rule 304 will apply

Shooting will be in two details with timed ends of two minutes per detail. Shooting will be controlled with visual and auditory signals, with the auditory signals having priority.

Longbows will shoot on single faces, all other archers will shoot on triples.

All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB and will be asked for membership cards upon registration.

Archers will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If any archer refuses to give a sample, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under 18 must be acknowledged by a parent/guardian to signify their consent to their child being drug tested if approached.

Juniors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/guardian/named adult whilst on the premises. Neither the Organisers nor the Judges can act as supervisors of juniors.

In view of the provisions of the Archery GB Protection of Children Vulnerable Adults Policy, anyone wishing to take photographs must register with the tournament organiser on the day.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, your ticket is not transferrable to another archer or another event. If you are unable to attend the event please apply for a refund through eventbrite so that archers on the waiting list can be offered the place.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It would help the tournaments team if you could bring your ticket to the event, but a hard copy is not required.

What is the refund policy?

Strictly no refunds.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, the name on the ticket must match the attendee as this is what will be recorded for scores/records/awards.
