What DEC Does:
- Connecting Providers and Strengthening Networks: We ensure customers receive the best possible support by fostering collaboration among providers to meet the local demand for skilled workers.
- Supporting Local Businesses: We help businesses in County Durham overcome labour and skills shortages by linking them to local talent, enabling them to thrive and ensuring residents are equipped with the skills needed for success.
- Raising Awareness of Support Services: We guide both businesses and residents through the opportunities available for training, career development, and job placement.
- Improving Employment Outcomes: Our initiatives help businesses find skilled candidates, increase awareness of job opportunities, and ensure job seekers are ready for the workforce.
