We will walk westwards from Prema to find remnants of the dyeing industry along the Ewelme River and in Uley imagining life 250 years ago. We will stop to draw, take photographs or record thoughts 2 or 3 times on the walk.We will return to Prema having walked on the other side of the B4066
A chance to ponder the importance of the woollen trade in Uley and its decline.A chance to consider the international nature of the wool trade in the 18th century including the use of "Uley Blue" in cloth production for the navy
