Dursley Walking Festival Event 23 - Dursley Parish Boundary
Join us for a scenic walk at GL11 4BN on October 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM (Europe/London). Get ready to explore the beautiful Dursley Parish Boundary.
Know your parish! Following the ancient tradition of 'Beating the Bounds' the walk follows the Dursley parish boundary as much as permissible and possible. Over 70% is on, or adjacent to, the boundary line itself, walking mostly footpaths with some road.
We will finish the walk at the Methodist Church Hall for end of festival tea and cakes.

Free parking is available in Dursley for up to 24 hours at the Council run May Lane and Long Street car parks. The May Lane car park is the most convenient to catch the bus for the linear walks. However, these two car parks are often full during weekdays. There is parking at Sainsburys, in Castle Street, for a maximum of 2 hours, enforced with ANPR cameras. This can be extended for £2.45 using the Just Park website or on your phone when you visit - this allows you to park all day (to be confirmed when you book). Parking may also be possible on side streets close to the town centre but you will need to allow plenty of time to search for these spaces.
