Enjoy a rare opportunity to walk in the Owlpen valley away from the public footpaths. This is a circular walk which start at the Owlpen car park. We then ascend quite steeply through the hanging beech woods of Owlpen wood. The path then turns back on itself and loops around towards the other side of the valley. We emerge into the calcareous grassland of Oakley Mead, and end up waling through the Great Mead to see the south front of the manor house. Guests are invited to enjoy a picnic in the grounds following thier walk.
