Event description

Description

Dusk on a cold winter evening is a magical time for wildlife watching. Join us for a guided walk to take in the sights and sounds as the light changes and darkness takes over the park.

We’ll look out for owls, deer and birds flocking together to form roosts. We may be lucky enough to spot a starling murmuration over the reedbed.

This walk is suitable for everyone, but particularly those who would like some company wildlife watching and walking on the reserve in the dark. The walk will last about two hours on good footpaths, sturdy footwear is recommended as well as warm clothing and a torch.

Booking essential, usual entrance charge applies (£3 per car or free to members).
