Event description

Description

Digital Union is proud to present its #DUSocial series, a dedicated series of high quality masterclasses curated to help give you deeper insight into the world of social media.

It's time to #DUSocial properly!

LinkedIn can be a complicated place, even for those who use it on a daily basis, but the platform boasts so many opportunities to reach a business audience and shout about your brand.

In this workshop, Sammy and Tegan from O Communications will take you through the best way to approach LinkedIn and incorporate it into your marketing campaigns. From creating a great content strategy and looking at different types of content to tackling through the platforms extensive advertising options, you’ll learn how to use LinkedIn effectively in your communications and how to reach the right people.

O Communications is an integrated creative agency in Newcastle, working for national and regional clients from food and drink brands to retail chains and travel operators. Since its inception in 2005, O has worked with a portfolio of household names including Dr. Martens, Flymo, British Masters, Goldsmiths, Primula and British Gas.

As a B2B account manager, Sammy Sadler works with clients to plan strategic communications tailored to appeal to a business audience across a range of platforms including PR, social media and influencer relations. Sammy has worked with clients from many different industries to showcase their brand to the world.

Tegan Denwood specialises in SEO and social media, focussing on digital strategy and delivery for O’s clients. She has five years’ experience working as part of a search focused agency, managing SEO projects across various industries, driving organic growth, taking the lead on paid social campaigns and building strong relationships with digital PR contacts.

The workshop will be followed by a case study with founder of The Hand Dyed Shoe Company, Simon Borne who has built an incredible following over LinkedIn with his engaging and honest content.
