Dykes and Tumuli Guided Walk

Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme. Join local archaeologist Chris Hall on a circuit of Irton and Seamer Moors, looking at prehistoric dykes and tumuli – includes Raincliffe Woods and a short, steep ascent of Seamer Beacon.
This 4.5-mile walk starts with a short talk about the archaeology of the area and finishes with complimentary tea and biscuits at Osborne Lodge.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
