Dyslexia and Confidence - Bitesize session for UWS students
Event Information
About this event
Dyslexia not only impacts literacy, dyslexic students may also face challenges with confidence and self-esteem. Come along to this bitesize session for tips and advice on how you can discover new learning methods, recognise your strengths, and become a more confident learner.
In this session we will discuss common experiences of being a neurodiverse student, how to recognise and make the most of the strategies you already know, and how to develop new ones. This session is open to all students (including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, SLD, ADHD, other neurodiverse conditions and no diagnosis) interested in making their learning experience as positive as possible.
This is a interactive online workshop where, if you want to, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and share tips and experiences together. To enable you and other participants to get the most you can from this workshop we suggest participants have their web-cameras on during the workshop, though this is not compulsory.
Please register using your UWS STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS ONLY when signing up. For any questions or enquiries about this event you can email us at: wellbeingservice@uws.ac.uk
