Dyslexia information Day
Sat 20 May 2017, 11:00 – 15:00 BST
This is the seventeenth Dyslexia information Day; it is aimed at all age ranges, from children to adults.
This event has been founded by Elizabeth Wilkinson and is a not for profit event, exhibitors are there free of charge and visitors do not pay to get in.
Please note; Dyslexia information Day events are NOT aimed at people who work in the field of dyslexia or education (you guys have specialist shows such as The Education Show, and BETT etc), you are of however, welcome to attend DiD!
Dyslexia information Day events ARE FOR dyslexic individuals, families, partners, employees and even employers; if you are dyslexic or you want to find out how to support someone you love or work with who is dyslexic, then this event is for you.
Dyslexia information Day is a positive and proactive informative and delightful event, offering people FREE advice and guidance, with only a few 'selling' stalls. Elizabeth is adamant that individuals and families should not have to struggle just to find information, advice and guidance.
There is also a whole army of fabulous volunteers who make these events possible, all of who are on hand to talk to you and chat with you about dyslexia, their journey and inspire you with their successes and 'can-do' attitudes!
Plus of course there is always cake, tea, coffee & Squash on sale too!
You dont need a ticket to attend, but if you register here on eventrite it gives us a really good idea of how much cake we need to bake! :-)
