Event description

Description

This briefing is aimed at school staff (safegaurding leads, classteachers, middle leaders etc) and will update colleagues on new and emerging issues and potential issues facing young people through their online activities.

  • Update on new and emerging trends
  • Recognising online risks
  • How to support young people to manage risk
  • How to find out more about sites and services that become popular

The training is organised by an experienced e-safety trainer who has a background in primary, secondary and special school teaching and is also a Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Ambassador and an Accredited 360 E-Safety Assessor.

According to Ofsted, training is one of the weakest aspects of e-Safety in schools. These briefings are designed to be:

  • Affordable - Extremely good value
  • Informative - Run by experienced and knowledgable trainers
  • Manageable - Shorter sessions to minimise impact on school day

The venue for this training is well located for car, bus and train travel. It has plenty of free onsite parking and we will provide tea and coffee.
