EACD Networking: Cross continental comms leadership lessons

The European Assocation of Communication Directors (EACD) is pleased to invite you to 'in conversation with' Alex Aiken. We will be exploring the challenges of communications leadership across mutliple issues and continents.

Alex Aiken has led high profile communication teams in the UK and overseas. He's currently working for the UAE government but has served as head of UK Government communication, a Director of communication and policy in local government and held a senior role with a UK political party. Alex established the Government Communication Service International team which offered capacity and capability to over 40 governments around the world. He was an active participant in the Club of Venice group of European Directors of Communication and is a strong supporter of the EACD.

We'll discuss issues such as working in different cultures, jumping into the unknown and geo-politics.

Your host is Stephen Welch FRSA (co-lead for the EACD in the UK, university lecturer, and builder of games and simulations to help communications professionals learn new skills and make an impact with business leaders. He'll lead the conversatiion based on your questions and interests; which you will specify when you register.
