Our training delivered by experienced Speech and Language Therapists will help you:

•Increase your knowledge of the definition of EAL and facts/myths behind it

•Increase your awareness of the stages of early EAL development and levels of proficiency

•Increase your knowledge of strategies and methods of supporting children with EAL in the classroom

•Know when to refer to Speech and Language Therapy (SALT).

We use a combination of coaching and practical activities and will direct you to resources (both paid and free) throughout the afternoon.

This course will be presented by Speech and Language Therapists, who has a specialist interest in supporting children with Language difficulty. We have a wide range of experience in supporting children with language difficulty in mainstream schools across Manchester. We are passionate about increasing awareness of the long-term impact of Language difficulty and training parents and educational staff to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with Language Difficulty.
