Event description

Description

The Durham University Centre for Catholic Studies Early Career Conference is a chance for postgraduate students and other early career researchers working in any aspect of contemporary Catholic theology and/or Catholic studies to meet and share their research in a collegial environment.

Sessions will be chaired by Carmody Grey, Chris Insole, Karen Kilby, Paul D. Murray, Anna Rowlands, and Rik Van Nieuwenhove.

Registration

Durham University students and staff: free of charge. Please enter your promotional code (sent to you by email) at the time of booking, and register with your Durham University email address.

Others: £15 per person (reduced from £25 as a result of the support of the Newman Association). £15 includes registration, buffet lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments, and 4.30pm drinks reception.

To book a place at the day, please register here at Eventbrite by 8 May (click on 'Tickets' above).

A limited number of travel bursaries will be available for those presenting papers, thanks to the generous support of the Newman Association. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please email ccs.admin@durham.ac.uk by 24 March in order to submit an application by 31 March. Please note that travel bursaries will be awarded only to those who have both (a) applied for a bursary and (b) have their paper proposal accepted. Travel bursaries will provide partial support for travel and accommodation, but will not cover the registration fee; therefore everyone, including travel bursary recipients, must register here at Eventbrite.
