Our ambition is to create a termly opportunity which brings together the network that provide “Early Help support” for children and families. This is any support for families and children when times get tough. It can come from different places – whether that’s from family workers in a school, a charitable organisation, a healthcare provider … to name but a few.
We know that Wokingham already has a vibrant network of organisations which support children and families through times of need. We recognise it's sometimes difficult to know where to turn, or what help is out there.
That’s why we're looking to bring together a network that enables us to share good practice, learn from one another, and provide training, signposting and support.
If you work with families and children that often need help, we'd love you to come along and be a part of it. The event will always be in person, with tea, coffee and biscuits and a most importantly a very warm welcome 😊
Come to our launch event for:
- Updates from the early help system
- Introductions from the new Early Help Co-Ordinators
- Space to showcase work your organisation is proud of, and hear from others
- Round table discussions to inform future activities of the event- this may include particular themes we’re noticing as a system or things the network is find hard – and would like support with
- Refreshments and an opportunity to network with others in similar roles
