Description

Following the training consultation we are pleased to offer a 3 day Early Help Practice skills course.

This course is available to Designated Safeguarding Leads and Education based Pastoral Staff.

Designed to support both the Early Help Assessment, Our Family Plan and the Request for Support, together the 3 days provide foundational training in Early Help practice skills including engagement, assessment and planning using Signs of Safety and Wellbeing (SOSW) methodology

Kindly note attendance at all 3 days is required.

Accreditation at Masters level (30 points) can be gained following implementation of your learning in your setting and a short assignment through the TLA programme.

Part One: Wednesday 3rd May 2017 9.30-16.30

Part Two: Wednesday 17th May 2017 9.30-16.30

Part Three: Wednesday 7th June 2017 9.30-16.30

We kindly ask that you do not book a place unless you can attend all three sessions and that you book a place at each session.

Please note if you are booking into this course there is no need to book into the half day SOSW session as all content will be covered in the 3 day course.

Currently these training courses are for representatives of Birmingham Schools only. We would please ask that each delegate register with their school/setting mailbox address.

We look to broaden this access to Early Years settings at the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year.
