He is committed to developing, through training, project work and publications an understanding of these children and providing solutions and practical help to school staff and families/carers.
He will be giving a presentation on Social Emotional Mental Health & Wellbeing and will look at:
1. SEMH What is it & is a diagnosis helpful
2. Wellbeing in school
3. Child development.

Jon Baker-Churchill, as I am sure you are all aware is the Manager of the Family Intervention Team for Mid and East Devon and he will be giving us an overview of the work of FIT and their place within Early Help. More and more request are coming in for Family Intervention Workers and Parenting support and so we felt it would be really useful for John to provide us with the information and guidance on the work they do and the support they can offer families.
