Early Learning and Childcare Careers: Loose Parts Play workshop

Are you interested in a career in Early Learning and Childcare? Come to our Early Learning and Childcare Sector Event on the 8th March!

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, Skills Development Scotland, Highland Council, Care and Learning Alliance (CALA) and Inverness College UHI are holding a sector event at the SDS Church Street Office in Inverness on Thursday 8th March from 12-6pm.

Whether you're a school or college student, looking to change your career, return to work or gain employment we will have all the information you need to get started on your pathway into a career in Early Learning and Childcare.

Everyone is welcome to the event, however, sign-up is needed for the following workshop..

Loose Parts Play Workshop:

1pm - 1.45pm and 3pm - 3.45pm

This workshop will provide participants with a brief introduction to concept and benefits of providing Loose Parts play for children. This is an interactive workshop where participants will have the opportunity to explore, experiment and get creative with small and large loose parts and reflect on adult interactions to support Loose Parts play with children.

Please wear comfortable footwear and clothing.
