Certificated course suitable for existing early years DSL's or DDSL's covering skills and knowledge required for the DSL role.

Outcomes

To provide existing designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads with Mandatory training, so they have the skills and knowledge required to carry out the DSL duties in line with KCSIE and EYFS.

The training will aim to refresher DSL knowledge around:

· Key pieces of legislation

· Embedding Safeguarding as a whole setting approach

· Local safeguarding processes, procedures and tools

· Local and national learning

Cancellation policy:

All non-attendance and short notice cancellations will be charged at the standard course/event fee rate.

Short notice cancellation is classed as any cancellation received less than seven days before the course/event date.

You’re welcome to substitute delegates or transfer them to a future course/event of the same type at short notice.
